The driver arrived twenty minutes late, causing two of the four passengers to miss their flight by 3 minutes. I understand that traffic jams are unpredictable, but the driver should not be late for the pickup. It's their main responsibility. The case is under review for a possible claim.

We deeply regret what happened, but we know that despite booking with very little time, you arrived at the airport an hour before the flight's departure. In fact, you mentioned that two of the four passengers made the flight.
Nevertheless, we will investigate the incident and take the necessary measures to ensure this does not happen again, as punctuality is our top priority.

The driver took us to the airport, meandering through neighborhoods full of potholes and bumps, going slowly on purpose. This was a bit uncomfortable. Only the last stretch was on the highway. Otherwise, it was fine, just average.

Indeed, between central London and Gatwick, there is only a stretch of highway at the end. Unfortunately, the potholes and bumps on the streets are not something we can control. As for driving slowly, if our prices are fixed, why would the driver want to do that or take a longer route than necessary? Think about it.
